StubHub International (SHI) is the world’s largest ticket marketplace with tickets available for over 10 million live sports, music and theatre events in more than 40 countries. StubHub International enables experience-seekers to buy and sell tickets whenever and wherever they are through desktop and mobile experiences.

StubHub reinvented the ticket marketplace and continues to lead it through innovation. StubHub recreated their exclusive interactive seat mapping using the Mapbox Tiling Service. This allowed StubHub to provide the same convenient georeferenced stadium seating selections while offloading old technical debt that didn't scale with their business.

We were able to rebuild our foundational UX for section level seatmaps on Mapbox MTS. It was easy for our developers to implement and allows us to move forward with modern technology at the scale of StubHub both on our website and mobile experience. Now that we’re on Mapbox, we’ll be able to build out an even more immersive, fan-first seatmaps experience in the future.
