The new Mapbox Console simplifies development and account management

The new logged-in experience represents a leap forward in usability, performance, and flexibility, addressing feedback from the Mapbox community and supporting the growing suite of Mapbox tools. Here's what developers can expect from the new experience.

A new home for developers

The redesigned Console introduces a new "Home" tab that provides a high-level account snapshot. This includes an overview of account usage during the billing period, making it easier to monitor key metrics at a glance. Whether managing maps for a small project or a large-scale application, this update ensures critical insights are instantly available.

Quick access to favorite resources

The new "Quick Access" section lets developers access files and folders that they've starred as well as recently edited files, so that they can quickly access important content.

Streamlined navigation with a new sidebar

The new sidebar organizes tools and resources more efficiently. From the sidebar, developers can quickly access the style editor and data manager to access their styles, tilesets, and datasets. As Mapbox invests in more developer tools in 2025, they will be added to this section.

Improved performance

As part of this rearchitecture of the logged-in experience, Console’s performance has improved, reducing page load speed by up to six times.
